Clinging To My Pen

Just keep writing.
Just keep fighting.
Nails, stop biting.
Feelings, stop hiding.

Just hold on a little longer.
Just fight a little stronger.
Don't let yourself be a goner.
Remind yourself to keep your honor.

Tired of following all the rules;
tired of watching others be jewels;

tired of facing my own life;

tired of helping the world be happy;
tired of being noticed only when snappy;

ready for the world to notice me;

ready to say it's my way or none;
tired of knowing this can't be done.
